Singapore

The currency of Singapore is the Singaporean dollar (SGD), though some locals refer to it as a “Sing”. Each dollar is made up of 100 cents.

Notes consist of $1, $2, $5, $10, $25 $50, $100 plus a $500 note which has been discontinued but are still legal tender. Singapore $1,000 and $10,000 notes also exist but spotting one is incredibly rare as they are never circulated publicly and are only used for intragovernmental transactions.

Apart from its use in Singapore, the Singapore dollar is also accepted as customary tender in Brunei. Likewise, the Brunei dollar is also customarily accepted in Singapore.
